1. Are you legally authorized to perform marriages?
Yes, I am a legally registered wedding officiant in NYC and can perform ceremonies in the United States.
2. What services do you provide as a wedding officiant?
We offer officiation services for a variety of ceremonies including traditional, civil, interfaith, non-denominational, and customized weddings. We also assist with tea ceremony, vow translations, toasting speech interpretations, bilingual minglings, and ceremony interpretations.
3. How long does a typical ceremony last?
A typical ceremony lasts about 20-30 minutes, but this can be customized based on your preferences and the elements you wish to include (e.g., vows, cultural or religious rituals, and readings).
4. Can we write our own vows?
Absolutely! You are encouraged to write your own vows, and you should! I can also provide guidance and examples if you need help crafting them.
5. Will you attend the rehearsal?
Yes, attending the rehearsal is recommended so that everyone is comfortable with the flow of the ceremony. Rehearsals are available upon request.
6. Can you include religious or cultural traditions in the ceremony?
Of course! I am happy to incorporate any religious or cultural traditions that are important to you. From tea ceremonies to the breaking of a glass, I will ensure your traditions are honored.
7. How do we book your services?
To book, simply email us at jadeluckclubs@gmail.com to receive a quote for the service you need. Once we confirm availability, a deposit is required to secure the date.
8. What is your pricing structure?
Pricing varies based on the type of ceremony, location, and any additional services like rehearsals or vows translations. Contact us for a customized quote.
9. Can we have a ceremony in a language other than English?
Yes! I offer bilingual ceremonies in English, Cantonese, Mandarin, and Taishanese, or can offer written translations to ensure everyone can follow the ceremony.
